Simon's first song "All I Have Is Written In Your Eyes" was recorded by U.S. Soul legend Doris Troy on her album "Stretchin' Out". After that Madeline Bell quickly recorded his "This Is One Girl" as the title track of her classic soul album in the late 70s. "This Is One Girl" has just been re-issued on CD on Sequel NEMCD 457, and is available from CD NOW.

In 1978 Simon himself recorded the single "Givin' It Plenty" for Pye Records(7N 46050) and it was used as the theme to the movie "No.1 of The Secret Service" and also featured in the Susan George film "Tintorera”.

If you haven't seen these movies, think yourself lucky.

Madeline Bell recorded another of Simon's songs in 1985, co-written with Led Zeppelin bassist John Paul Jones - "HERE I AM" was from the soundtrack of Michael Winner's "Scream for Help”. Vinyl copies currently available via Amazon.

Recently Simon has started writing again after attending a local Open Mic night in West London. Hearing the talented young writers & performers each week ignited his creativity, and he released a 4 track E.P. in December 2014, hitting No.48 on iTunes Singer/Songwriter chart.

About Time EP is available on download worldwide from iTunes, Amazon, Google Play, Saturn, Zdigital, HMV etc. It can also be heard on Spotify. The tracks are Next To Me, Play (If Life’s A Game), Partner In Crime, and Happy New Year.
